Our number one goal is to make sure we provide a safe, fun, social experience for seniors interested in exploring the natural world around them. To achieve our goal, our group has agreed upon rules that keep our hikes safe and enjoyable—it is imperative that we follow the guidelines at all times.
Our group always stays together when we hike
With safety in mind, we want to make sure that all hikers stay together. Our team has roles and guidelines that help us ensure every hiker returns safely.

All Bellingham Senior Trailblazers are members of the Bellingham Senior Activity Center (BSAC). If you’re new to the group, please feel free to join us on up to three hikes! If you enjoy yourself and want to continue as a group member, please apply to the BSAC.

We recommend that all new hikers complete the application below even before their first three trial hikes so we can assess your hiking skills and ensure your safety!
